He has driven successful projects around Asia in hotel rebranding, renovations and repositioning; enhancing brand and asset values; developing high-potential talent; and transforming regions and delivering stakeholder returns in both business, resort and gaming environments.

Jack Chua, Co-founder & Director of Forte Hospitality Consulting, has garnered more than 35 years of hospitality experiences, rising from a humble Baker to a responsible General Manager. 

Balanced and all-rounder, Jack has vast knowledge in Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Finance, Revenue Management, Safety & Crisis Management and other aspects of Hotel Operations.

Commenced his career with Hyatt Regency Singapore and the remarkable journey took him through many reputable Global Hotel Chains such as Shangri-La, Swissotel, Millennium & Copthorne and StayWell Group.

From a successful pre-opening of Traders Hotel as Director of Sales to turning around Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort to be the Group’s most profitable Hotel and in F&B, and to undertaking of numerous renovation and upgrading projects, he will be able to share his vast know-how and successful attribute.

Commenced her hospitality career as a Sales Executive in Melia Bali Villas & Spa, a member of Sol Melia Hotels.  Her advancement journey took her to Starwood, Ramada as well as the Radisson Team.  Apart from international brands, she also joined several 4-stars local Hotel & Villa chains in Bali to garner an all-round exposure.


Throughout her Sales & Marketing career, Laurentia was involved in numerous rebranding and renovation projects with an emphasis on uplifting its brand; increase in room yielding; successfully shifting of market segmentation mix, and an overall improvement in Hotels' profitability.

A recognised member of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), Ramesh Ronald has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.  He has been a General Manager of local and International Hotels such as The Gurney Resort Hotel & Residence, Penang and The Oakwood Hotel & Residence KL, West Malaysia. 


Being a humble yet passionate hotelier, Ronald worked his way up from Banquet Waiter to Director of Catering Sales in Shangri-La KL. Moved on to The Westin KL to be the Director of Catering & Convention Services and later appointed as Director of Six Sigma, Black Belt and promoted to Director of Operational Excellence before assuming the Director of Rooms, to acquire another key operational role for seven years.


With his extensive hotel experience, Ramesh Ronald is in a great position to represent Forte Hospitality Consulting in Malaysia.   He will spearhead the promotion of our consulting, advisory and supporting services to Hotel Owners & Stakeholders in Malaysia with his vast industry knowledge and pleasant personality.

Tommy Ng is an entrepreneur and seasoned HR practitioner, a well-respected coach, trusted mentor and influential advisor. For over thirty years Tommy has helped everyone from employees to CEOs, with deep HR experience that spans sectors, both public and private, including global finance, property development and management, public transport, worldwide hospitality and education, and airlines manage and leverage their people effectively.


Winner of numerous HR awards and accolades during his stints with Raffles International and SMRT Corporation.

Alan Chan, Chief Legal Consultant of Forte Hospitality Consulting, a senior corporate lawyer with almost 30 years of experience practicing corporate and commercial law.


Alan served as legal advisor to executive boards and management of prestigious and multinational corporations in the hospitality, integrated entertainment, technology, health care and property development sectors, including the largest charity and gaming entertainment membership organisation, the Hong Kong Jockey Club; integrated entertainment hospitality and gaming resorts, NagaCorp Ltd and Imperial Pacific Resort Hotel; Celestial Pictures Limited, the entertainment content aggregating member of the Astro group in Malaysia. Alan also acts as Independent Non-Executive Directors for listed companies; and serves as honorary legal advisor to a number of charitable organisations. 


With a wealth of experiences in corporate transactions from green field start-ups, to government regulatory advisory, corporate compliance, take-overs and mergers and acquisitions, Alan practices ways and means to balance corporate integrity and business growth with sound practicable solutions that serve sustainable and successful corporate growth.


Rachel Tanoko is a senior finance leader and Chartered Accountant with an extensive career experience that spans across South East Asia and the United States. Her close to 20 years of experience that started with a Big 4 in Singapore, has taken through to companies such as Inter-Continental Hotels Group, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Singapore Cricket Club and Furama Hotels International; from Financial Controller to Vice President Finance (functioning along with added roles such as Vice President Business Development and Head of Business Unit). Having worked as a finance leader at the property, operator and owner level, Rachel has an all-rounded hospitality finance approach in addressing hotel operational and financial issues effectively. Her experience also includes asset management, deal acquisition and structuring, and hotel/real estate investments.


As a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), Chartered Accountants Worldwide and Financial Planning Association of Singapore, Rachel values integrity and upholds professional competence.

Rachel holds a Master of Management in Hospitality degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University. She was the recipient of two prestigious scholarships for her academic endeavours: KPMG and Singapore Tourism Board.

Rachel is culturally sensitive and multilingual, besides English, she speaks 6 other languages including Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia and Cantonese. She is very active in voluntary works: she chairs the board of a charity in Singapore and is the cofounder of a non-profit organization in Indonesia. On the not-so-serious side, she enjoys sports especially badminton, family traveling and a good cup of coffee!


After graduating from the University of Hawaii in Travel Industry Management, Anthony started his career in the F&B industry at the Hyatt Singapore as Corporate Management Trainee in 1984. He stayed with the Hyatt Singapore rising to become Assistant Director of F&B before relocating to open Grand Hyatt Taipei in 1989, and ending his hotel career as F&B Executive Assistant Manager at Hyatt Aryaduta Jakarta in 1990.

With 36 years of experience under his sleeves, Anthony Wong is undoubtedly a prominent player in Singapore’s F&B scene. His F&B journey began with a humble joint - Hot Stones Steak and Seafood Restaurant. The success of Hot Stones prompted him to open two more concepts within a span of three years, this then propelled him to establish the holding company - Creative Eateries.

Today, Anthony has created 17 different restaurant concepts and 2 catering arms in Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines. Creative Eateries now manages 4 restaurant divisions that include Western, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese concepts that spread over 44 outlets and an extensive catering arm. Creative Eateries is known for its ability to create innovative new concepts while adapting the existing brands to the current market conditions and staying relevant to the ever-changing consumer demand.

In addition to developing his passion for F&B through Creative Eateries, Anthony is a founding member of Crossings Café, an initiative started among 12 Catholic individuals that aim to provide employment in a restaurant environment for the socially marginalised individuals. Playing an active role in the Catholic Business Network (CBN), a non-profit organisation that brings together Catholic business owners and working professionals with an objective to inculcate Catholic values and ethics in workforce as well as the community.


Anthony will continue to make an impact to society with his appointed role as President of CBN. Known to be one of the local F&B veterans, Anthony was on the board as the committee member of the Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) for the two consecutive terms helping to raise the culinary profile within the island state. He has since handed the baton to his daughter who now seats on the Board as a committee member bringing a fresh outlook to the table. Anthony was also appointed role as the Member of SAFRA Board of Governors which has carved a new channel for him to give back to the
community; aiming to foster camaraderie and social cohesion.
